Book in a Box and Vegetable Music Instruments

The children in Room 10 and Room 11 have been very busy over the past month. In music they have been learning how to read music like an orchestra with different parts playing at the same time. The children looked at sustainability in music and made their own instruments out of fruit and vegetables. After presenting their instruments to the class they played them as a vegetable orchestra. Their music was very…..interesting!!!

The children also completed their own ‘Book in a Box’. They had to choose a fiction book and try to retell the story in 10 sentences with the help of props. The final products are amazing and are on display in the library for the rest of the week.
Congratulations Room 10 and Room 11 on some fantastic work this month!
