We are thrilled to announce that Kewdale Primary School has successfully secured funding through the Let’s Grow Project to enhance our Early Childhood and Bush School areas with the addition of new trees and shrubs.
Site preparation has now commenced, marking the first step in what will be an exciting transformation of these outdoor learning spaces. Over the coming months, students, staff, and families will see these areas develop into greener, more inviting environments that support learning, exploration, and connection with nature.
The project will provide many benefits for our school community, including:
- Increased shade and cooler outdoor spaces
- Enhanced habitats for local wildlife and pollinators
- Improved opportunities for nature-based learning and exploration
- Support for student wellbeing through connection with the natural environment
- A more sustainable and environmentally friendly school landscape
