On Thursday 6th March 2025, our Kindergarten class had their first ‘come and play’ parent morning session.
14 parents/families came along and did some fun activities with their kindergarten child. They made a parachute with a pipe cleaner person attached because the Kindergarten students were reading ‘Parachute’ by Danny Parker and Matt Otley in their Pre-lit lesson.
They completed an ‘All about me’ information sheet, decorated the letter their name starts with and made a paper aeroplane. After the activities the parents/families watched their child participate in the Kindergarten matt session, as well as show their gross motor skills through yoga, an obstacle course and outside play.
It was a great turn out and everyone had lots of fun.
The next Kindergarten ‘come and play’ morning session will be held on Thursday 20th March in week 7, from 8:35-10:05. All Kindergarten parents/families are welcome.
